Bapao. Bapao, or ba pao, is a steamed bun with a savory or sweet filling. Originally from China, it made its way into the Dutch kitchen via the cuisine of Indonesia, a former colony of the Netherlands. The savory filling is traditionally made with ground beef and is flavored with Chinese five spice powder (fennel, anise, ginger, cinnamon and cloves) and sweet soy sauce.

Bahan Bapao

  5. Gunakan 1 sdm Fernipan.
  6. Sediakan 50 gr Mentega putih.
  7. Dibutuhkan secukupnya Air.
  8. Dibutuhkan Daun/ kertas roti.
  9. Siapkan Pewarna makanan.
  10. Sediakan Coklat/ kacang.

Cara membuat Bapao

  1. Aduk semua bahan, beri air sedikit demi sedikit jangan kebanyakan air.
  2. Aduk sampai kalis,bagi beberapa bagian, beri pewarna makanan,lalu diamkan selama ±30menit.
  3. Setelah mengembang cetak adonan beri isi coklat/ kacang, lalu bentuk sesuai yang diinginkan, taruh diatas kertas/ daun.
  4. Lalu diamkan kembali selama ±30menit.
  5. Setelah mengembang kukus ±15menit,.
  6. Angkat, lalu bapao siap dihidangkan.

Pao lembut tanpa susu dan pengembang. Punya kismis, pengen bikin bakpau mata kismis. Tapi pas bikin malah keasyikan lupa ga kasik kismisnyaa 😂😂😂 Bapao from the supermarket are okay but sometimes dry and always too big.
